EXISTING FRAME CUSTOMIZATION
Customize Existing Eyewear Styles for Your Brand
Start with a proven Higlasser frame and adapt its colors, lenses, finishes, branding, and selected details—while keeping the core frame structure unchanged.

WHY THIS ROUTE
Why Start With
an Existing Style?
Found a style you like? Build on it with the details that suit your collection.
See the Frame Before You Decide
Try a sample, check the fit and see how it feels. It’s easier to decide what you want to change when you have the frame in hand.
Spend Less on Development
You may not need new tooling or extensive design work. We’ll check which parts of the existing frame can be kept for your project.
Make Sample Reviews Simpler
With the base frame chosen, you can focus on how your changes look and feel—and tell us what still needs adjusting.
Give It Your Brand’s Look
Choose the colors, lenses, finish and logo that suit your collection. A shared starting point can still lead to a product that feels like yours.
WHAT STAYS THE SAME
What Stays the Same When You Customize an Existing Style?
You’re starting with a frame that already works. Its material system, shape and construction guide which changes we can make.

Keep the Original Material System
The frame you choose sets the material system we work with. We’ll review your options against that design.
- Injection Styles
Material options depend on the selected frame and its tooling.
- Acetate Styles
Customization stays within the acetate construction.
- Metal Styles
Customization stays within the metal construction.
Work Within the Existing Shape and Fit
The selected frame sets the starting shape and dimensions. Tell us what you want to adjust, and we’ll check what the existing design can accommodate.

Build on the Existing Production Setup
We review which tooling and production steps can be reused. The changes you request determine whether additional development is needed.

Questions About Existing-Style Customization
Clear answers to common questions about what can be changed on an existing frame, where the limits are, and when a project should move to full custom development.
01 Can I change the frame size or shape?
Major changes to the frame size, geometry or structure are not part of existing-style customization. If you need those changes, the project would normally move to full custom development.
02 Can I change the frame material?
The main material system stays the same. An injection frame remains within injection construction, an acetate frame stays acetate, and a metal frame stays within metal construction. Changing to a different construction normally requires full custom development.
03 Can I use my own logo on an existing frame?
Yes. Depending on the frame material, surface and available space, logo options may include printing, laser engraving, hot stamping, lens logos or selected metal logo applications.
04 Can I customize the lenses on an existing style?
Yes. Depending on the frame and lens requirements, you can change lens color, material and treatments such as polarization, mirror coating, photochromic, blue-light blocking and other compatible lens options.
05 Do I need to choose a style from your catalog first?
If you already have a Higlasser style in mind, send us the style number or product link. If not, tell us the shape, material and overall look you want, and we can recommend suitable existing styles.
06 What if the changes I want cannot be made on the existing frame?
We’ll check which changes can work with the current frame. If the project requires a new structure, new dimensions, a different construction or new tooling, we’ll recommend moving it to the full custom development route.
