WHY BRANDS WORK WITH HIGLASSER
Reduce Risk from Eyewear Development to Bulk Production
Your approved sample sets the production standard. Higlasser checks frame fit, lenses, color, branding and assembly against that reference through bulk production and final inspection.
Risk-Control Framework
One Approved Standard. Four Control Points.
Bulk production should stay aligned with the sample you approved. We review manufacturability, document specifications, monitor components and assembly, and inspect finished eyewear before shipment.

Turning Eyewear Ideas Into Real Products
Higlasser develops custom eyewear from product briefs, sketches, visual references, target colors and functional requirements. Each project moves through design, sampling, validation and production preparation.

CASE 01 · PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
From a Hand Sketch to a Wearable Prototype
INITIAL REQUIREMENT
The client came to us with only a hand-drawn eyewear concept, without technical drawings or confirmed dimensions.
HIGLASSER APPROACH
We guided the client step by step through the development process, turning the initial sketch into 2D drawings, a 3D model and finally a 3D prototype for size and fitting evaluation.
FINAL OUTCOME
A wearable 3D prototype that allowed the client to review and confirm the dimensions, structure and fit before the next development stage.

CASE 02 · COLOR DEVELOPMENT
From an AI Rendering to a Real Lens Color
INITIAL REQUIREMENT
The client provided an AI-generated eyewear image and a Pantone reference to show the lens color they wanted to achieve.
HIGLASSER APPROACH
We used the visual reference and Pantone color as a starting point, then developed and adjusted physical lens samples until the client was satisfied with the final appearance.
FINAL OUTCOME
A physical lens color developed from the client’s AI-generated visual concept and approved by the client.

IR Lens · Enhanced Coating · CCTV Validation
CASE 03 · FUNCTIONAL LENS DEVELOPMENT
From a Special Imaging Requirement to a Custom IR Lens
INITIAL REQUIREMENT
The client needed a specialized IR lens for CCTV imaging applications.
HIGLASSER APPROACH
We completed the IR lens development and added an enhanced coating to better meet the required imaging performance.
FINAL OUTCOME
A custom IR lens with enhanced coating developed for the client’s CCTV imaging requirements.
FRAME PRODUCTION METHODS

Core Eyewear Production Capabilities
Our teams manage frame, lens, surface-finishing and assembly work according to the approved product specifications.
Frame Processing
We manage frame production through injection molding, CNC machining or metal-frame processes according to the approved construction and material.
Lens Processing & Fitting
We cut, edge and, where required, drill lenses before fitting them to the approved frame and lens specifications.
Surface Finishing & Branding
We control polishing, plating, coloring and logo application against the approved color and branding references.
Assembly & Adjustment
We assemble frames, hinges, lenses and hardware, then adjust alignment, opening, fit and finish.

Quality Checkpoints from Incoming Materials to Shipment
We check materials and production output at four stages to identify variation before it moves into the next stage.

Incoming Material Verification
We verify specified frame materials, lenses, hinges and components before production or assembly.
First-Piece Verification
We compare first production pieces with the approved sample for dimensions, color, lens fit, branding and assembly.
In-Process Inspection
Our inspectors monitor alignment, dimensions, hinge function, lens fit and surface finish during production.
100% Final Inspection
Our inspectors check every finished pair for frame appearance, temple alignment, lens condition, hinge function, branding and packaging before shipment.

START YOUR PROJECT
Choose the Right Starting Point for Your Eyewear Project
Choose one of three eyewear project routes: ready-stock private label, existing-frame customization or fully custom development. Each route uses a different production basis, lead time and customization depth.
READY-STOCK PRIVATE LABEL
Launch Faster with In-Stock Eyewear
Choose an in-stock eyewear style, select from its available lens options, and add your logo and custom packaging.
BEST FOR
Brands testing a new category, launching seasonal capsule collections, placing smaller first orders or replenishing proven styles quickly.
EXISTING-FRAME CUSTOMIZATION
Customize Existing Eyewear Styles for Your Brand
Start with an existing frame structure and produce it to order with customized colors, lenses, finishes, logos and selected components.
BEST FOR
Brands that want a more distinctive collection without developing a new frame structure or new tooling.
FULLY CUSTOM OEM & ODM
Develop a New Eyewear Product
A fully custom eyewear project can start with a sketch, reference sample, CAD file or product brief.
We develop the concept through engineering, sampling, approval and production preparation.
BEST FOR
Brands that need an original product with new frame structures, dimensions or tooling.

Custom Eyewear Manufacturing FAQs
Clear answers to common questions about MOQ, sampling, customization, production lead times, testing and international delivery.
01 What is your MOQ for custom eyewear?
MOQ depends on the development route and frame construction. Typical starting quantities are:
- Ready-stock private label: from 50 pieces.
- Standard custom production: typically from 300 pieces per style/color combination. Lower quantities may be possible depending on the frame construction and project requirements.
- 3D-printed eyewear: from 1 piece for prototypes and small-batch projects.
02 How long does eyewear sampling take?
3D-printed prototypes can often be completed in about 3–5 days once the design file is confirmed. Standard custom samples commonly require around 7–15 days after specifications and available materials are confirmed. Fully custom developments typically take around 3–5 weeks, depending on the frame construction, tooling and revision requirements.
03 How long does bulk production take?
Typical bulk production takes approximately 40–70 days after the approved sample, final specifications and production order are confirmed. Timing varies by frame material, construction, surface finishing and order requirements.
04 Can you develop eyewear from a sketch, reference image or CAD file?
Yes. Projects can begin with a hand sketch, reference sample, AI rendering, CAD file or product brief. Our team can help translate the initial idea into practical 2D and 3D development files and prototypes for review before production.
05 Can I customize an existing eyewear style instead of developing a new frame?
Yes. Existing frames can often be customized with different colors, lenses, finishes, logos and selected components. The available customization depth depends on the frame construction and development route.
06 What eyewear materials and lens options do you support?
We support injection-molded materials such as PC and TR90, handcrafted acetate, metal constructions including stainless steel and titanium, and PA11 / PA12 for 3D-printed eyewear. Lens options can include PC, TAC, CR39, nylon, TR18, polarization, photochromic lenses and different coating solutions.
07 What testing and compliance support can you provide?
Higlasser can coordinate eyewear testing and provide available third-party reports for the target product and destination market. The scope may include UV protection, visible light transmission, polarization, CE conformity and FDA-related requirements.
08 Do you ship custom eyewear internationally?
Yes. We can arrange express courier, air freight and sea freight for international orders. Shipping terms, customs responsibilities and import requirements depend on the destination and agreed delivery terms. DDP solutions may also be available for selected markets and projects.
Our team can review the practical shipping options with you during order planning.
